C. Briggs shared the Information and Communications Accessibility Design Standards (ICADS) with the committee. This document has amalgamated the Ontario Building Code and AODA. This will act as one document that staff, contractors and city facilities will use to close the gap that currently exists for communication standards. Once approved, this will be added to a procurement document and bids will need to meet certain standards to receive a tender.

E. Peeters asked the committee for a motion to endorse the Information and Communications Accessibility Design Standards document.
