Deputy Mayor Richardson called the Meeting to order at 8:30 a.m. Councillors R. Ashmore, D. Joyce, C. McDonald, M. Perry, E. Smeaton, P. Warren and E. Yeo were in attendance.

Absent: Mayor Elmslie

CAO R. Taylor, City Clerk C. Ritchie, Directors S. Beukeboom, C. Faber, R. Holy, B. Robinson, J. Rojas, C. Shanks, IDEA Partner C. Briggs, Manager of Customer Service S. Babcock and Strategy Management Specialist B. Stonehouse were also in attendance.

Strategic Planning Session 2024-2027 - Meeting #2

CAO R. Taylor introduced the Strategic Planning Session for today and highlighted an overview of the Strategic Planning Process.  The working session was lead by CAO R. Taylor and the strategy planning facilitators, B. Stonehouse, M. Norman, S. Babcock, C. Briggs, and R. Cowieson. The working session was a continuation of the initial working session that was held during the Special Council Meeting of September 28, 2023 with a continued focus on

  • Environmental scan (reviewing Political, Economic, Social and Technological issues);
  • Overview of current plan; and
  • Next steps in the process.

The meeting recessed at 9:45 a.m. and reconvened at 10:06 a.m.

The meeting recessed again at 11:02 a.m. and reconvened at 11:12 a.m.
