There were no declarations of pecuniary interest noted.

Bryan Robinson informed the PRC that all City committees and existing terms of reference for the committees are currently under review. This is due to the upcoming change in council and reduced number of councillors. Staff made some small wording changes in the PRC's terms of reference and these changes will be circulated to the committee for comment.

No complaints.

No leachate outbreaks. Shayne discussed the fire that occurred at the tipping face of the Lindsay Ops Landfill on Tuesday August 7th. The fire was discovered around 6:30am. The fire department were called in immediately and the fire was extinguished by 9:00am. The MECP and Spills Action Centre were notified.

David Kerr provided a summary of the new Operations and Maintenance Manual for the Lindsay Ops Landfill and a draft manual was circulated to the PRC for their comments before submitting to the MECP.

The PRC discussed the upcoming LEX as the next meeting scheduled for September will be on opening day of the fair. The PRC determined that this will not interfere with the next meeting.

B. Wilson asked questions about the fire at the Lindsay Ops landfill, the biomonitoring report, and the EA process.
