Adam Found and Tauhid Khan from the Asset Management Division provided background information and answered questions regarding the Lindsay Ops Landfill Environmental Assessment which will begin either in 2020 or 2021.

Integrated Waste Management Strategy Update

David Kerr presented on the Integrated Waste Management Strategy (2015). The presentation highlighted the work that has been completed so far in regards to the Strategy as well as plans to update the Strategy with public feedback in 2019.

Public Comment Period

Mrs. Wilson commented that the City should advertise the Strategy update in the newspaper for those without computers. Also during the spring melt there is often litter along Highway 36, which is not picked up during the Earth Day clean ups.
