Landfill Complaints

No complaints.

Leachate Outbreaks

No leachate outbreaks.

A small spill of oil resulting from leakage from a vehicle occurred on May 19th at the landfill was reported to the PRC, The MOECC, and the Spills Action Centre.

2017 LOPS Annual Report Presentation

David Kerr conducted a PowerPoint presentation on the 2017 Lindsay Ops Annual Monitoring Report.

Public Open House

Staff informed the PRC that the City's Insurance and Risk Management Officer and the Director of Public Works did not have any liability concerns with having the fall open house at the landfill.

The Director of Public Works will inform council of the decision, and invite them to the open house.

A vote was taken by a show of hands from the PRC members for those in favor of holding the open house at the landfill and was supported unanimously.

Public Comment Period

B. Wilson who was not in attendance asked a member of the PRC to ask a few questions regarding the Lindsay Ops Landfill.
