Landfill Complaints

No complaints. Councillor Strangway noted he has been receiving complaints of long lineups at the site recently.

Other New Business

Free Waste Weeks

Shayne gave an update on how the free waste weeks have been going so far, and discussed the traffic plan for Fenelon on the upcoming May long weekend.

Reuse Centre

Shayne gave an update on how the Reuse Centre at the Fenelon Landfill has been going so far with having people go over the scales first before they drop off their donations.

Fenelon Site Redesign

Information on the new Fenelon Landfill Redesign project was given to the committee including short term and long term options for the site. A presentation by WSP on the new plan will be conducted for the committee in July.

Schedule Spring Tour

A spring tour of the Fenelon Landfill was planned for the upcoming June meeting to review traffic flow, site layout, and monitoring of the pollinator seed project.
