Heather Kirby gave a review of the Task Force Presentation developed by herself, Amy and Brenda. It captured and summarized all the work, activities and workshops the Task Force and the two Working Groups has organized and been involved in. Rod shared that last week it was advised the presentation would be shifting to a report to go to the October 5th Committee of the Whole. The Economic Recovery Task Force will be presenting their report at the same meeting. Dissolving of the two Task Forces by the end of the year will be the next step as per the Terms of Reference. Both Task Forces have completed their mandates in October.

Amy Terrill shared the following recommendation to be made in the report to Council:

That the City of Kawartha Lakes continue to co-ordinate community agency workshops and a vital signs survey in operation work plans starting in 2022.

After discussion amongst members it was decided to reference a consideration in the report to Council, that Council could decide to extend or change the mandate of the Task Force as it desires.
