    That Staff be authorized to proceed with the process to designate the subject properties under Part IV of the Ontario Heritage Act, including the preparation and circulation of Notices of Intention to Designate, and preparation of the designating by-laws.

    That Staff report back to Council by Q3, 2024 with a report on the status of the calcium chloride program for gravel roads, including target and achieved calcium chloride application rates, direct program costs, service and lifecycle cost impacts of the program; and

    That Staff determine whether the program requires adjustment to better minimize gravel road lifecycle costs.

    That By-Law 2016-009, being a By-Law to Provide Authority for the Execution of Certain Documents and Affix the Corporate Seal on Behalf of the City of Kawartha Lakes, be amended as generally outlined in Appendix A to Report CORP2024-001; and

    That the necessary amending By-Law be brought forward for adoption.

Single Source Supply and Delivery of Four Land Ambulances – Multi Year

    That Council authorize the single source purchase of four (4) land ambulances to Crestline Coach Ltd. for a total estimated cost of $1,069,184.00 not including HST;

    That Council authorize the option to renew the contract, after the initial term, for an additional four (4) one (1) year terms, ending December 31, 2028, based on annual council budget approval, mutual agreement of the pricing and successful completion of the initial term and each term thereafter; and

    That upon approval, the Procurement Division be authorized to issue a purchase order.

    That Mar-Co Clay Products be awarded the single source contract for the restoration of 16 ball diamonds in the Spring of 2024 at a total cost of $191,359.10 plus HST;

    That following successful completion of the 2024 restorations, Mar-Co Clay Products be awarded an additional five (5) year term, to December 31, 2029, to provide ball diamond restoration services to the City on an as required basis; and

    That the Community Services Department be authorized to issue a purchase order.
