A. Hart called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. with the following members present Councillor R. Ashmore, A. Adare,  J. Garbutt,  J. Hartman, S. McCormack, I. McKechnie, W. Peel and J. Pitcher.

W. Bateman arrived at 5:04 p.m.

Staff Present: E. Turner, Economic Development Officer - Heritage Planning.

Site Plan Application Review - 6697 Highway 35, Coboconk

The Committee reviewed the proposed plans for the new Coboconk Wellness Centre and provided comments.

Amendment of Heritage Delegated Authority By-law – Extension of Timelines and Execution of Heritage Easement Agreements

The Committee reviewed the proposed amendments to the delegated authority by-law.

Alteration Application - 73 William Street South, Lindsay

The Committee reviewed the proposed alteration to the property known municipally as 73 William Street South in Lindsay.

J. Garbutt provided a verbal update on the Sign Subcommittee. The subcommittee has reviewed and categorized the existing signage in downtown Lindsay and identified which signs are in compliance with the heritage guidelines. The subcommittee's next task is to review the wording in the signage by-law.

Councillor Ashmore provided a verbal update on the Pickerel Point Cabins Subcommittee. Parks Canada has not yet demolished the structures and the subcommittee is still waiting on Parks Canada for next steps.

The Committee received the CHO fall newsletter. E. Turner will scan it and circulate it electronically for information.

E. Turner provided a general update on two items to the Committee for information. The City supplies committee members with planners each year and the 2022 planners are available for pick up. Committee members will need to contact her to make arrangements.

The CHO conference is being held in Brockville on June 16-18, 2022 and Committee members may want to think about attending. There is a small budget to reimburse some costs.

The next meeting will be Thursday, January 13, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. in Council Chambers at City Hall (26 Francis Street, Lindsay).
